A Lip-smacking Chow

It rained the whole day today but that didn't stop me to do what I wanted to do which is clean my room and cook for my meals this weekend and tomorrow. I am expecting a busy weekend for I have to do peer mentoring and team-teaching with our new teacher this month. Tomorrow is the start of my busy week as my days off falls on Wednesdays and Thursdays. What a pity for me! :( Oh well, I think I am getting used to this one since I have this schedule the first time I came here more than a year ago. Today is no exception to my busy days for I have to do lots of things both online and offline. I woke up this morning a bit late coz of the shitty weather we are having this week. It has been raining hard since I woke up til evening while I am writing this entry. I hate this kind of day or should I say it ironically, 'I damn love this day very much!'. Grins.

Oh well, despite the heavy rain and chilly weather, I and my housemate still managed to go to G's place for we had been invited dinner at his place. Gladly we came to his flat at around seven in the evening. We ate much tuna salad with pumpkin soup and tea as starters. Whew! I really had more than enough when I almost finished eating the tuna salad and he served the hot and crispy potato wedges and that beef and mango round thingee. Hahah just invented this word coz I don't know what that was. I just ate it and twas really deliciouso. Indeed a lip-smacking dinner. Smiles. We had of course 'intelligent conversation' while savoring the food for over an hour which makes our mind and stomachs full.

We went home stuffed and we walked slowly home. We arrived at around nine for my housemate had to get some money from the bank nearby. Thank you very much G for inviting us in your flat and of course for the great dinner which you prepared for us tonight. I hope we could cook in our flat as well sometime soon but I think you need to cook for us our favorite pumpkin soup. Grins.

A Sweet Pinch on My Nose

While watching a video sketch with my early learners this afternoon class, one cute little boy - Tony sat beside me quitely watching the short story which was about a glove puppet meeting his fiends. This was our first lesson and video watching so I expected them to be really attuned to the television. While I was watching I was also singing with it and Tony just came up to me and whispered shhhh to my ears meaning I should stop, hahaha. What a sweat-pea! :) Then, he began to sing it too with the other kids. As soon as the video was over, he stood up and came nearer then pinched my nose as if signaling that he wanted to play with me. My class monitor was so amused at what he did to me. Then, we went back to our classroom. We had a short activity and went out for a ten-minute-break.

This class is so dear to me. They are just so funny and brilliant. I don't have any difficulty teaching them. They are just simply cute happy kids. Smiles. Indeed, I am lucky to have them this term.
